Worrrds

Choose letters to spell a word, then place the shape they make. Worrrds combines a word puzzle with falling blocks: you have to think about the word and where its pieces will fit.

How to play

Tap or drag across letters in spelling order. You can choose letters anywhere on the board; their positions determine the shape of your next piece. Check the word and send it when you are ready.

The board flips to the block side. Move the piece left or right, rotate it, and drop it into place. Disconnected groups settle separately. Fill a row to clear it and make room for the next word.

Keep clearing rows before the stack reaches the top. Each ten cleared lines advances a level and speeds up the falling pieces. Your run saves between sessions, so you can stop and come back.

Scoring and special tiles

Longer words earn bonuses, and clearing several rows at once scores more than clearing them separately. With cascade gravity enabled, blocks can fall into further clears for a multiplier.

Bomb letters blast open space. Rails sweep a row or column. Hints help you find a word, and shuffles rearrange the letters when you need a different set of options.

On your iPhone

Worrrds supports English and French, with separate Game Center leaderboards for each language and achievements to unlock. You can play offline; Game Center needs an internet connection.

Choose a light or dark theme. The game includes haptic feedback, and Reduce Motion removes the board flip, particles, and travel animations. Worrrds requires iOS 18 or later.

The game is free, with no ads or in-app purchases. You do not need a Worrrds account to play.
