isSlop
A Chrome extension that highlights overused AI-writing patterns and explains each match. Scanning runs in your browser.
Click isSlop to scan a page, then hover over a highlight to see which rule it matched.
The page score measures how often those patterns appear. Hide the highlights or rescan after the page changes. isSlop also works in document editors and skips small comment and compose fields.
People use these expressions too. A highlighted sentence is not proof that AI wrote it. Each explanation helps you decide whether the wording needs an edit.
Scanning runs locally, without network requests, accounts, tracking, or a language-model API. English and French rule packs are included. The Spanish pack is marked unverified.
